Description
The College of Social Sciences and the School of Interdisciplinary Studies are pleased to offer 4 International Summer School scholarships to students from Universitas Gadjah Mada or Jimbaran Consortium universities (Udayana, Andalas, Cendrawasih, Jember, Sam Ratulangi and Universitas Sumatera Utara).
The scholarship is worth £2500 and covers the 3-week Summer School programme Environment, change and the future: the Scottish Experience to be held at the University of Glasgow's Dumfries Campus from 20 June-8 July 2016. It covers course tuition fees, accommodation, airport pick-up and a social programme. Scholars are responsible for their return flights to Glasgow, visa cost, and any personal expenses.
How to apply?
To be considered, simply submit an application for a place on the programme and include a personal statement stating why you feel you should receive the scholarship and a reference from one of your lecturers.
Deadline
Applications must be submitted before 30 March 2016 to be considered for the scholarship.
Selection
The programme conveners will review and select scholars after the deadline. Candidates can expect to hear the outcome before 30 April 2016.
