AUAP SCHOLARSHIP

The Secretariat is pleased to announce that 8 IMBA Scholarships are being offered to AUAP members. Due to the recent collaboration of AUAP with Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM), Bangkok, Thailand , the Secretariat has the privileged of recruiting 8 students from our member institutions to be awarded these 8 IMBA Scholarships.  Members in good standing of AUAP are encouraged to nominate their candidates.

Details of IMBA Scholarships  Offer:

1 Scholarship 100% tuition fees:	100% on Tuition Fees (One Scholarship) Scholarship Amount: 350,000 THB (US $ 10,000) Amount Payable: 45,000 THB (Activity Fees) –US $ 1,286
1 Scholarship  100% Credit fees:	100% on Credit Fees (One Scholarship) Scholarship Amount: 273,000 THB (or US.$ 7,800) Amount Payable: 122,000 THB (Administrative and Activity Fees)- US $3,486
3 Scholarships 50% Credit fees:	50% on Credit Fees (Three Scholarship) Scholarship Amount: 136,500 THB ( or US $ 3,900) Amount Payable: 258,500 (Tuition, Admin and Activity Fees) – US $7,386
3 Scholarship 30% Credit fees:	30% on Credit Fees (Three Scholarship) Scholarship Amount: 81,900 THB (or US $ 2,340)  Amount Payable: 313,100 (Tuition, Admin and Activity Fees) –US $8,946

  THE BASIC AUAP’S CRITERIA OF RECRUITMENT ARE LISTED BELOW:

 1.Member institution nominating a student must be 

- an Active Member (i.e. has paid membership  fees for the years 2012, 2013, 2014). 

- or new Active Member

2.Academic Performance (Bachelor Degree) , the academic credentials of the student must be sent to the Secretariat (AUAP).

3. English Proficiency (IELTS or TOEFL score)

4. Interview (Skype for overseas students)

5. Brief introduction of each student by the nominating institution

6. Other extracurricular activities including work experience, community service, entrepreneurship, arts, sports;  etc.

7. The course work for iMBA is 1 year and students may take additional six month to 1 year to complete their

     thesis or Independent Study (IS) depending on their research.

8.Attach file of 1 Picture, size 2 in. X 2 in.

 THE REQUIREMENTS FOR A STUDENT NOMINATION FROM AUAP MEMBERS ARE:

1. Final year student.

2. Must pay the air  ticket, dormitory, personal expense, insurance during their studies.

3.Students to submit 2 abstracts on the following topics:

            §  How will the IMBA Program affect your future plans? (500 words)

            §  Explain why you would like to be a part of the iMBA  Scholarship Program (250 words)

Remarks: The living expenses (accommodation + Food + personal expenses) are not included in the fees. Our estimates show that students on average spend 8000 - 14000 THB/Month for living expenses. iMBA staffs can help international students find accommodation  and provide other services like airport pickup, visa extension.

DEADLINE: Name, Academic credentials, Brief Introduction and the 2 abstracts must be sent to  AUAP Secretariat on or before November 30, 2015 at 12.00 pm., Bangkok, Thailand Time.

Important Dates: Announcement on AUAP website on December 15,2015.

                                The School year starts in February 2016
